Suspended scaffolding, also referred to hanging basket or sky climber, is a temporary lifting mechanism system, which consists of a platform suspended from above by cables and stirrups on each side of the platform or a single basket with one motor.
Suspended scaffolding can be widely used for working at high-rise building façades, such as construction, windows cleaning, curtain wall installation, exterior wall maintenance, etc.… As a specialized equipment to quickly transport personal and tools to an elevated work area.
Two-point (swing stage)
In practical application, Two-point (swing-stage) suspended scaffolding are the most common type of suspended scaffold. The swing stage is hung by ropes or cables connected to stirrups at each end of the platform. This type of suspended platform has wide applications at different sites, such as high building external wall cleaning, construction decoration and welding at different working heights.

Safety systems
To ensure safe operation without danger to personnel, the platform is fitted with the following safety devices:
- Service brake incorporated in the LTD hoist.
- Two fall arrest devices (Anti-tilt LSF safety lock) acting on the safety wire ropes.
- Second rope system for worker and platform safety.
- Overload sensor incorporated in the LTD hoists according to EN 1808. (Optional)
